The Alexandria Museum of Art Announces the 10 Years of the Dragon Commemorative Poster Contest!
We are inviting artists in the area, professional or not, to submit their design for the 10th Anniversary Dragon Boat Poster! The winning design will be reproduced on posters and other products which will be sold as pre-sales and at the Louisiana Dragon Boat Races.
Entry Guidelines
- Artists may submit ONE full color design (limit of one entry per artist)
- Entry Fee is $10 per artist. Payments should be made through Acceptiva
- Design must be able to be reproduced in 11” x 14” vertical poster.
- The design should reflect the 10th Anniversary of the Louisiana Dragon Boat Races™ and include the AMoA logo (logo available below).
- Design should include the museum name, Louisiana Dragon Boat Races™, and the year.
- Entries must be accompanied by a receipt for entry fee, image, and relevant entry information (title, artist name, date)
- Deadline for Entries is midnight on Friday, April 3rd. No late entries will be accepted.
- Winners will be notified and results posted on the AMoA website by April 15th at 5 PM
- Winners will receive a free AMoA 1 year family membership.
- Entering your design grants the Alexandria Museum of Art all rights and permissions for reproductions and sales, with artist credit
- No refunds will be granted.
- Payment of entry does not guarantee an award.
